Raised right here.

I am a lifelong resident of Buena Park, who followed in the footsteps of my brothers and sister being proudly shaped by Mira Linda, then San Marino, Orangeview Junior High, Western High School, and Cypress College. I continued to follow my sibling's lead, deepening my knowledge and connection to our community by working at Knott’s Berry Farm.

My Career has spanned diverse industries, including restaurant management, music production, promotion, and event planning. For over a decade, I’ve dedicated myself as the primary caregiver for family members, including a brother, parents, a grandparent, nephews, and nieces. Additionally, I co-founded a molecular diagnostic laboratory, testing for COVID-19 and other diagnostic services for physicians. I take great pride in being a devoted son, brother, uncle, nephew, friend, partner, and leader. I am committed to making a positive impact in our community while investing in our youth, as they hold the key to the success of our community’s future.

Get involved.

Join me in making a difference in our community by getting involved with the Vote for Thomas Barraza campaign. Whether you have a passion for supporting local schools, empowering families, or contributing to positive change in our district, your help is invaluable. From volunteering your time to spreading the word, every effort counts. Together, we can create stronger connections between families, educators, and our community to ensure the success of our students. Let’s work together to build a brighter future—starting today!

What's my WHY?

Two years ago, our family was thrust into a position as guardians for a 13-year-old. Without knowing where to start, we engaged with the schools and community to find support and resources. We learned that many untapped and underutilized resources are available for students and families. Applying these resources within our Centralia Elementary School District community is important to empower parents to get the support they need to aid teachers with their student's educational success.
